Thomas Streatfeild-James qualified as a Financial Advisor in 2019, becoming the first graduate of the St. James’s Place, Asia Academy.

Formerly based in Shanghai, he began supporting clients to build complex financial plans reflective of their individual needs as expatriates living in Asia. Thomas formed a strong working relationship with Eight Wealth International’s Head of Business, Giles Henman, and after several years was invited to join the practice in Singapore where he continues to build holistic plans for his clients.

Thomas provides a high standard of expert advice, and having spent over 6 years in the region, is able to understand the unique journeys that lie ahead for individuals, developing strategies for them to make better, informed decisions and reach their financial goals.

Alongside an extended team of in-house expertise, Thomas prides himself on taking clients on healthy financial journeys, covering areas such as international tax planning, legacy and succession planning, repatriation, and more. He is a true advocate of seizing opportunities and sharing knowledge, working closely with international schools to elevate the curriculum through ‘Money Matters’ workshops.

Thomas has been invited to both speak and host panel discussions and is a regular contributor to publications supporting financial education and empowerment.
